HARRISBURG, PA – A server at the Capitol Diner in Harrisburg, PA, identified as a Greek-American named Athena, told New York Times reporter Robert Draper on July 27, the day before Hillary Clinton was about to make history in becoming the first woman to accept a major party (Democratic) presidential nomination, that she had waited on the then-U.S. Senator in 2008, the Times reported.
“She is a very nice and intelligent lady,” Athena said, “but after eight years of Obama, she would just be a continuation.”
Does that mean Athena plans to vote for Trump? She stopped just short of saying so, the Times reported, but strongly hinted as such, stating: “I’m from a family of immigrants, but we need to take care of America first.”
