The Greek ocean-going shipping fleet fell in value by 11 percent over the past year but is still ranked as the most valuable in the world, at 95 billion US dollars, according to VesselsValue, a market publication.

Greek-controlled shipping continues to be the world leader despite the serious depression faced by Greece’s economy and the slump in international shipping.
