MANHATTAN – The photography exhibition, The Island of Nisyros: A Photographic Essay by Dr. Katherine Schwab, Professor of Visual and Performing Arts at Fairfield University, opened on February 28, at the Consulate General of Greece in New York, 69 East 79th Street in Manhattan, and will be on view through March 14. The exhibition has been organized by the Program in Art History & Visual Culture in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Fairfield University and it forms the third exhibition collaboration with the Consulate General of Greece in New York. TARPON SPRINGS, FL – Dancing As One: The Greek Community of Tarpon Springs Documentary Premiere & Panel Discussion takes place on Thursday, Mar. 14, 7-9 PM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral’s Spanos/Pappas Community Center, 348 N.
