Souvlaki, Greece’s idea of fast-food but better, is available now in Mooresville, IN with the opening of the King Gyros restaurant that offers authentic Greek-American cuisine.
Owner Angelo Tourloukis said that he chose to open in Mooresville because liked the community, and because he received the former Long John Silver’s building for a good price, the Reporter-Times said.
“They gave me a good deal,” said Tourloukis. “And of course, I like the location here. The community is good.”
It’s not his first venture in the business. He has been in the restaurant business for decades, opening his first at 23, the paper said, focusing on gyros and Greek-American fare.
“I introduced the gyros business to at least 10 cities,” Tourloukis said, with 12 locations across the state, and many in Indianapolis, offering the irresistible bite at cheap prices.
