Nicholas G. Karambelas a partner in the Washington, DC law form of Sfikas & Karambelas, has published a book titled Guide to the Aspects of Doing Business in the United States for the Foreign Business Person (Tribonian Publishing, 2015).
The book’s aim is to provide foreign businesspersons with a starting point toward understanding U.S. business laws that affect commerce between and among nations has become integrated.
International commerce will become even more integrated as massive free trade agreements such the Transpacific Trade Partnership (TPP) and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) take effect.
Says the publisher: “The United States is a hugely lucrative market. It is also a daunting, diverse, overwhelming, and even a mysterious place to do business. Even U.S. businesspersons have difficulty navigating through the maze of federal, state, and local laws and regulations that are administered by government authorities at each of these levels. We hope as this e-book evolves that it will provide at least the initial step into the port of entry into the United States market.
The book is available online for purchase at ngklaw.com.
